Janet is currently an LLB Law student who is deeply dedicated to the belief that young people have the power to shape the future. She joined UNA-YP with the conviction that it’s not only important, but essential, for youth to have a voice in how things are run.
Through her academic and professional experiences, Janet has developed a strong sense of responsibility to help others and promote fairness on a global scale. In her role at UNA-YP, she supports the Secretariat by organising meetings, maintaining communication, and ensuring the smooth running of team operations.

Maryam is one of the HR Managers with UNA-YP. She is a student studying History & International Relations with ambitions to enter the world of diplomacy and international cooperation. For her, UNA-YP is an organisation with so much potential to create a body of young people who are empowered and inspired to become tomorrow's leaders.
Her work with UNA-YP focuses on safeguarding members and taking on onboarding responsibilities, but she has learnt so much from her colleagues and the various opportunities that she has been privileged to have been involved in.
